A set of 5 precision-edged polyhedral dice, Opaque Orange in color and made with high impact plastic for durability.
This set includes five dice originally invented and patented by Lou Zocchi, including a D3, D5, D14, D16, and D24.
The 3 SIDED DIE is numbered on its tips, and has the letters R, P, and S on its flattest sides, for ROCK, PAPER, and SCISSORS. The d3 is ideal for simulating unarmed combat, or combat with a small person.
The 5 SIDED DIE is triangle-shaped with five main surfaces. It was test-rolled more than 10,000 times to assure that no face came up more than 20% of the time.
The 14 SIDED DIE is numbered 1-14, and also includes the days of the week. This die generates days of the week for starting your campaign or establishing deadlines.
The 16 SIDED DIE is numbered 1-16, and can be used for generating random compass half-winds--north-northeast (NNE), east-northeast (ENE), east-southeast (ESE), south-southeast (SSE), south-southwest (SSW), west-southwest (WSW), west-northwest (WNW) and north-northwest (NNW).
The 24 SIDED DIE is useful for generating a random hour. When the numbers 1 through 24 are added together, they total 300. When 300 is divided by 6, it equals 50. There are two odd numbers and two even numbers which total 50 on each 4 sided pyramid group, on 4 sides of the die. Only one face totals 49 and the other totals 51. All opposing faces total 25.

It’s hard to find these odd dice. But the set doesn’t come with a d7. The numbers are not deep enough to add good color to them, there are several places on a few of the dice that needed sanded smooth. Could be a lot better. For the price, if the website had all the dice available, it would have been cheaper to buy individually. Nothing special or good about these dice, just in general they are rare, so producer doesn’t need to try.
